For rugged commercial, industrial and COTS front panel applications, Triple E is the only choice for your VME, VME64x,VPX,  VXI, PXI and cPCI handle needs. Triple E's patented, extruded aluminum handles boast superior strength and durability, providing almost unlimited PCB extraction cycles. Triple E's handles are fully compliant with the mechanical specifications of IEEE1101.1 and IEEE1101.10.

IEEE1101.1- VME/VXI  handles are available standard in single, and twin cam designs that help apply even pressure when extracting single or multiple boards. Special Quad Cam options are also available for wider board configurations. Handles are available in standard, low profile and high force versions to meet specific application requirements.

IEEE 1101.10 – VME64X, VPX, CPCI -  Today's high density cPCI and VME64x/ VPX backplane connectors can exceed 150 pounds of force for board insertion / extraction. Unlike  plastic handles, our extruded aluminum IEEE1101.10 handles offer customers durability for reliable and robust injection / ejection performance. Special care was given to the profile of our aluminum inject / eject handles to ensure conformance to true U-height requirements even with the handle in the open position.

Triple E continues it’s tradition of rugged, extruded aluminum eurocard components with the introduction of the Triple*Ease™ Single CAM ejector handle. This extruded aluminum handle is backed by a lifetime warranty against breakage. The Single CAM handles are a direct replacement for many plastic handles of similar design from other manufactures so there is no need to change your front panel design. Specify the Triple*Ease™ Single CAM VME ejector handles, they won’t break, bend, out-gas, melt or burn. Contact your local manufactures representative or factory for ordering guide.  Standard configuration is the N Style (Narrow) – with an alternative W style available as a special order.

Twin Cam VME Designs

The Triple*Ease™ Twin CAM design (pictured above) reduces parts count and assembly time compared with single CAM handles. The Twin Cam Handle is available in a black powder finish off the shelf in standard 4HP configurations.  Custom widths are also available as a special order in widths from 5HP up to 16HP. Triple*Ease™ extruded handles offer uniform extraction of large modules and stacked circuit cards. When using front panels that are 8HP or larger, we offer a  QUAD CAM ejector handle (pictured below) for uniform extraction of multiple boards. The Quad Cam ejector is offered as a special order.

When using tall 9U cards and you need that extra extraction force, try the Triple*Ease™ low profile long handle.

Triple E Standard Handles now available via our ONLINE STORE

Triple E offers a variety of fixed metal handles  for special applications.  The fixed metal handles comve in a variety of custom configurations and  utilize a lineal thread for ease of assembly to any panel. The panels are designed to accept a 2,5mm x 8mm screw.

The handle coupler is a unique design that allows joining of multiple front panel handles. This coupler slides over Twin CAM handles and is held in place with set screws. Couplers are extruded aluminum and available in various widths and powder coat finishes.
